Dr. Yu Li

Dr. Yu Li has a B. S. and a M. S. degree in Chemistry from Lanzhou University and a

Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the Chinese University of Hong Kong,

concentrating in natural product isolation and synthesis.

 

Dr. Yu Li is North Aisa Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, Mars Foods (China) Co., Ltd.

 

Since joining Mars China in 2003, Dr. Li has been managing food regulation compliance internally,

engaging in many food regulation/standard making process externally,

and involving in management of key scientific and regulatory freedom-to-operate issues.

 

Dr. Li also has served as the Chairperson on the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Committee of

China National Food Industry Association since it was established in 2008,

and as the industrial representatives on numerous food safety or food regulation related committees and

forums.

 

Before joining Mars, Dr. Li had worked as role of R&D in a leading

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) company for 10 years.
